    Good choice/taste indeed

slortz, out of the 3 front spoilers readily available in Japan (JDM, Modellista, & TOM'S), the Modellista one looks the best. It beats even Blitz's in my opinion. Good choice. If you don't know how the Blitz one looks like, search for "Turbo" in the Performance forum.

You purchased the pre-painted version (2-pc) right? You could have saved close to $200.00 USD if you had bought through us.

that blue one is japanese. i doubt they had to pay excessive amounts for what they bought. even if everything in japan is very expensive to us, usually the cars are very cheap to them

Areometer, I just noticed your site a little too late. You're right. I would have bought from you guys instead. Your cost for the parts is a bit more than japanparts.com, but I expect the shipping costs are nowhere near the $400 I paid. Well, if I go for the side skirts in the future I will most likely get it from you.
That purchase won't happen too soon though, the wife needs a new car and I have two incomplete projects on my Prius at the moment.

Thanks for the info. I'll be visiting and dreaming about all the goodies from your website until the bankroll builds.

Thanks slortz. Our posted prices already include Int'l freight & all hidden charges except domestic UPS Ground freight! No way does this UPS Ground freight come close to $400 on even the oversized spoilers. Next time, ok? Thanks.

slortz, are you experiencing any more "curb scrape" than the stock nose gave you? I'd read about moving the chin spoiler forward, but I was worried that it would scrape more going into/out of driveways. Seems if it helped economy and didn't scrape, Toyota would've put it there in the first place ...

But wait, $400 is about right, if you sending cost more than 100 bucks you need to claim to the Custom, also dont forget insurance.
Shipping cost for large item(s) from Japan is not cheap (I tried before).

Not as hideous as the "Ivory/Brown" interior color Toyota picked.

I'm assuming you're being sarcastic since everyone that has taken a gander at mine wants the same. Accolades from door to door.

Here you go. Take another look.....

Sorry for the late response...haven't checked back at this post for a while cause I got another project on my car brewing. Anyway, not sure if I can give you a good answer because I've never had a problem with "bottoming out" around where I drive even before the mod. This is mostly for two reasons: 1. Roads dips and curbs aren't too extreme, and 2. I drive carefully whenever I think there is a chance it might scrape...I still have the new car anxiety/obsession with keeping it pristine.
It may help you to know however that the front end ground clearance is reduced slightly (guessing between 0.5" to 1") because the front spoiler fits over the existing front end.

I like wood trim but it has to be tastefully applied and not tacked on. Brian, your trim looks nice but the problem is that the ones that cover the vents don't go all the way to the bottom. Just a minor niggle.

Well Tideland Prius, thanks. :) I don't know where you got the name Brian but if you're referring to the picture I posted (BMcGraw) the "B" is for Bob. And in my case it was applied quite professionally if I do say so myself. (I didn't use one tack - all self-adhesive)

I agree that the ones that don't go all the way to the bottom, should have but they aren't noticeable while seated in the front and of average height.

I'm contemplating going with the Modellista kit here fairly soon if I can figure out how to still use the front mask/bra if you catch my drift.

Oh, sorry! No idea where I got it either. It was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw your name. Sorry about that.

Well, it's still better than a lot of wood trims that come out of the factory *cough* Chevy Uplander.

    Hmm, use a half mask?

Certain cars look nice with wood trim... this car does NOT need wood trim. I would prefer a graphite type applique. If you like it, that's what counts!!!

it looks like a custom. i dont think you can get it. check it out, they increased the width of the rear doors so there's a gradient that follows all the way to the side of the spoiler. that's a lot of work and i'm willing to bet that it is a custom job.
