I do like my car too, had I got it for $5-$10 k less then I paid for it, I would like it better..But since when does a person buying or leasing a new car have to take extraordinary measures...I found out where the eject button is, in case my Prius goes 90 when I intended to go 50. Buying a quality car should not need any special measures.

The Priuses were and are overpriced partly because of Toyota's proven resell value over the years(Big selling point at any Toyota dealership). Resell value is assessed on the demand of buyers and quality of the car being bought. With Toyota's recent wrinkles its fair to say, you will have a hard time to unload your car for a price of your liking, should you have a change in heart.

Very similar to the housing market, How many people bought a house in the last 2 years can say they can get a better price for it today...How many people are paying mortgages for a house thats worth 60% of what it was valued at..Like most people here, they love what they bought(House or Prius)! ...That love is limited in my book, when you feel that you overpaid for something, that you have nothing to do, with its devaluation!

Price will still go down..Let them fix all their problems too...Don't run yet !

I bought a 2010 Prius III about five weeks ago with a $2200 discount from the MSRP

Its looking more and more like this Calif thing may be a hoax. The driver has Federal liens and is bankrupt. If this isn't a motive I do not know what is.

I will be picking up my new Prius Friday.
