NAV ? on Street Name

Pg. 87 of the NAV Owner's Manual shows a feature called "Street Name on the Scroll Map".

What I expect is if I manually move the cursor to any location on the screen with a street, the street name will appear.

What happens: Only the city/town name appears.

The only way I know to see a street name is to hit the map button and then you will get the address of your GPS location

Anyone else find that this feature works differently?
Any other way to get the street name of cursor location?
