Please help me with research for my advertising class: www.surveymonkey.com/s/toyotaprius

Hi Prius owners! I am a student at Texas State University currently doing research on the Toyota Prius for an advertising campaign project in my Account Planning class. I would really appreciate if you could take my survey to help me find out more about Prius owners! It will take 1-2 minutes to complete. Thank you so much!

It appears that your survey form is flawed. Questions 4 and 6 will not allow independent selections in the rows of the table (i.e. it won't allow the same response to occur on different rows).

You could of put the link in the body so everyone could of just clicked on it instead of copy and pasting it in the browser? :p

The OP is a new poster, so they can't include links. Here it is:

The last question, income level, seems to have a typo.

As a suggestion, a semi-log scale on quantitative numbers such as income and miles per year, can often provide a better range if the answer buckets are limited:

    under $10,000
    $10,000-$20,000
    $20,000-$50,000
    $50,000-$100,000
    $100,000-$200,000
    $200,000-$500,000
    above $500,000

    For mileage per week:

    under 10 miles
    10-20 miles
    20-50 miles
    50-100 miles
    100-200 miles
    200-500 miles
    500-1,000 miles
    over 1,000 miles per week

    Agreed.

Also, your age scale is going to skew your results. You have breakdowns until you reach 40. For many people... 40 is where living starts. ;)

I definitely would have... but since I'm a new member it wouldn't let me. It said I had to do 5 posts before I could post a link in the body :)

Thank y'all for your suggestions. I'm new at creating surveys and research methods for campaigns, so I apologize for the kinks in it. I will definitely do a better job on my next survey :)

That is because you have to rank the options from 1 to 6.

I think that is exactly what he wanted. I don't remember question 4 but 6 wants those factors ranked. They don't want you to rank two or more factors as number one. They want you to have to pick the most important factor.

done. but i am suspicious about you being a student. seems more like a toyota damage estimating survey :))

a lin k to your school and the online results or your paper would ease my mind. thanks.

I think this is a good survey. For what it's worth, I bought my Prius two days ago, but I suppose you assume that most Prius owners purchased before the recalls, not after. The recalls and the incident in San Diego definitely affected my decision making and delayed my purchase.

I drive almost 100 miles per day, so I was a little surprised that the maximum mileage you request is 150 miles per week.

The maximum income you have is 75,00. I think you're missing a zero.
