My 2007 refuses to fill normally. It takes fuel only at a dribble. I assumed this was a common problem, but I can't find anything on the search engine. I am probably not entering the right words. Can someone please direct me or tell me the fix. If there is a long thread already, that would be great.

try a different pump. It has happened to me at like only one gas station. Others have reported that somehow, turning the filler upside down works...

As Bob64 said already - try a different pump and if it still gives you a problem go to a different gas station. One particular gas station gives me more problems than others. Also pump at the lowest speed setting.

Your issue with filling is most likely caused by the nozzle. Try a different gas station.

My 07 does this every time I fill up. I bleed off some of the pressure by pulling nozzle out almost the entire way and pump on an angle to help with dispersal of pressure that the gasoline produces. It takes quite a bit longer than any car I've ever owned. I used to have a Boxster and a 325i and both would fill to the brim with no feathering required.. I will try the upside down nozzle....
