I have a friend that asked about my Prius a few days ago. Here is what he said "Oh you have one of those Hybrids? So, are there many gas stations around that have the battery swap kits so you can swap it out easily?" I thought it was quite a question. Thats the weirdest hybrid question I have ever heard. I just explained how it works and he likes the cars much more now! :)

I just had an awesome moment! As I drove to McDonald's, I noticed an elderly man roaming the parking lot. After I parked & got out, I saw him standing at the back of my car (It became evident that he has a condition that does not allow him to talk). He motioned me to come to him. As I came around, he was pointing to the back of my car and then put his finger on the "Hybrid" logo. He gave me such a heartwarming smile, gave me a thumb's up, and then walked off waving as if to say "have a nice day". Wow.. the little things say a lot!

JayHawk, it's hard to follow that one.

After having Priapus for only a month, I needed to put the folding seats to a test. Afterwards, I started this thread:
    http://priuschat.com/forums/and-the-onlook...too-vt4560.html

And just this past weekend, I had another moment.
Now, I've had Priapus for a little more than 11 months. I've had the same neighbor the whole time. She's asked about him and I've answered all her questions. But over the weekend, she was standing in her driveway talking to her other neighbor (condo townhouses). Needing to free the garage space, I opened the garage door from the inside, backed out, and parked. They were both just gaping. When I got out, they both said how quiet it was. "I never even heard you start it" my neighbor said.

Just goes to show that you can talk about it and they can even live next door to one. But it's not until they experience the "power of the stealth" that they truly get it.
