Do you have a camber kit on the car?

Talked to Mike at Tanabe today and he said he'd call me back about the following:

    1. how low does the prius need to be before a camber kit is a necessity?
    2. When will the fit tested products be available for purchase?

Thanks. Look forward to the reply on both questions. Still jealous.

Deltron - it was nice meeting up with you yesterday. Your car is looking very nice. Tasteful drop, actually makes the stock 15s look good.
Let me know when you hear back from Mike about availability of the strut brace. Although I like the clean look of my Cusco brace, I'm nagged by the lack of clearance for the brake fluid reservior and not feeling paying for a custom brace...

    Calvin,
it was good meeting you as well, and thanks for the heads up on the led license plate bulbs.

Mike called me back and it looks something like this:
    1. Mike suggests lowering the car as low as you'd like, then getting an alignment.. At that point the technician should be able to tell you if a camber kit is required, but the rule of thumb seems to be that camber kits are a good idea if you're lowering the car 1.5 or more inches

    2. The fitment tested parts should be available around summertime

Any recommendations for shops in the San Francisco bay area doing Tanabe coilover installs? What's the approx. labor cost?

NF-210's do not require camber kits. They provide at least a 1.5" drop.

Just got these coilovers and Ill be doing a write up on install along with a few test drives. Not looking forward to testing out the height adjustment by lowering my car a few times and jacking it back up to get the right fit. I called Tanabe today and they told me that I can go as low as I want. More to come in the next few days I'll keep you posted.
