We've been waiting to buy a new Prius until we see what (if any) new incentives will be offered this month for the Prius. I've been in touch with a few dealers about letting me know, etc. Just spoke to one of them who said one of the new incentives is 0% financing for 36 months (I don't remember what others he said, this is the type of thing that we were looking for).

Haven't seen this anywhere online or whatever yet though, hopefully it's true.

A few dealers told me about the 0% financing thing, starting today. I found this:

    Buyatoyota.com

Not only is it 0% for 36 months, but also 1.9% for 48 months, or 2.9% for 60 months.

That is for the Central Atlantic region; not sure where you are, or whether it is the same in other regions. You should be able to find it on Toyota's site now, though.

I know it doesn't apply to you guys, but here in the UK Toyota are now offering a 5 year, 100,000 mile warranty on all their cars. This is up from the usual 3yr, 60,000 mile warranty.

Guess it's to do with the fall out from the bad press, but it sounds a good deal to me.

We've been looking to buy a II. Salesman called today and said that Toyota just came out with new Sales Incentives. $750 cash back or 2.9% and 2 years maintence.

Yeah it's official, 0% for 36 months, good deal. I'm gonna check out the Costco car buying program - the dealer I got my 2004 Prius from 6 years ago told me they're a participating dealer. Don't know how good it gets though.

I would have had some spectacular incentives for new Prius sales to share with you on April 1, but it's too late for those "specials" now.

March had better leases in SO CAL

In March you only needed $800+ down, with the same monthly payment.

    "Get a $229 a month lease on a new 2010 1.8L 4-Cyl Prius Level II / model #1223
    See below for additional information

A special offer from your participating Toyota dealer.

    $229/mo for 36 months
    $2,219 Due at Signing
    Offer Ends 5/3/2010"

I am in Indiana and am looking to buy a II too but haven't got a good deal. Could you share what dealership offered these incentives and how much they quoted you?

    Thanks a lot!

Things may have changed today in Gulf States--I checked that link, and it lists 2.9% for up to 60 months, but no 0% at all. For those who live on the border of Gulf States region, that could be a pretty big incentive to shop across the line, so I wonder if GST might not be outfoxing itself . . .

It's funny how the incentives are regionalized like that. I live in PA and they offer the 0% 36 month financing, etc. I'm close to NJ though, and a dealer there is offering a good deal, but they don't have that incentive available to offer. NJ is in a region with NY and CT.

Ah, actually, it was 2.9% across all 3 terms yesterday as well. I failed to even realize the Atlantic states 0% APR offer (sweet indeed if you can afford it).
