A few questions about upgrading stereo/speakers...

    open the drivers door and pull the jbl "holder" (entire black piece) strait away from the door. there are two clips behind this unit that hold them in... one is white, the other is a metal piece that literally "fits" into the door frame.

    i think the tweeter jump pops out of this.. if your tweeter doesn't fit, you need to retrofit, and glue the new one in place. i had to melt the casing and glew in mine.. in that case, read on...

    with this unit out, if you turn it over, you'll see that the black mesh it held on by having little pieces of mesh go through the plastic. very carefully, because they break off, unfold the wire mess and pull it strait away from the black plastic.
