    rofl!

I used the same wood kit (Sherwood) as usbseawolf, and very closely followed his layout pattern. It looks fantastic and tasteful, imo. I know he studied Lexus interiors before applying his so I think he had a good balance as to how much wood to apply.

My only regret is that the Sherwood kit doesn't contain some of the pieces pictured above... for ex. I would liked to have added accents to the door siding where the handles are.

I'm sorry, I just don't get the whole wood thing. I never have understood it. Makes me feel like I'm in the headmasters office at a European girls school. NOT in a good way either!

I had a very light interior in my honda and that was a large part of the reason I did not like it. I waited a few more weeks for the dark grey interior and am glad I did.

The problem is that Toyota greys are deathly greys. I do like contrast (which is one reason why I went with the beige interior for our 2005 to get the black/beige combo... which I found more appealing than the maroon/grey combo). I like Misty Grey (too bad I couldn't snag one for 2010).

Don't get me wrong. The dark grey interior of the 2010 is quite nice and business-like but it's sooo monotone and boring. It's a good substitute for black though (cause I don't like the way a worn black leather steering wheel looks like and a black leather interior only looks good when new).

Thanks for the great comments. It was a well spent $140 and they are made of real wood underneath. I had them on for almost 4 hours and no issue with cracking or peeling off. Very good quality stuffs from Sherwood.

My Bisque cloths were starting to wear out and found a steal deal on the leather so I upgraded. I now have gray leather seats with black all-weather floor mats -- yup 3 tones. :D

Leather wasn't available in the Canadian market, and I had to take bisque cloth to get a red car. There were no dark interior options.

I think of the bisque cloth as a safety feature.... in case of accident it's much easier for the emergency workers to get an estimate of your blood loss on it than on black.

I KNEW one of us did the Bartlett gray in a Bisque car! I couldn't remember who. That might be the best combination.

Another approach might be something closer to a chocolate leather from Katzkins. Dark but still in the brown family.

Now I need to do the wood thing (and not the pirate ship I posted a picture of! :D ).

Back in 2008 I purchase seat covers for my Prius 'bisque interior'
I replace the seat covers every 2-3 years [ only $19.95] on Ebay,
The factory seats bisque seats, still look new every-time I replace the seat covers.

I think it’s the material they use on the Prius interior. I had a 93 Camry with 310000 miles and it looked better than my Prius with a gray interior. Same for my 4 runner tan interior.

I bought Wet Okoles seat covers the day after I bought my 07 new. There still on the car and still look pretty good. Seats are minty underneath.

Wet Okoles seat covers (matching colors)
    Weathertech floor mats (ebay)
Weathertech Insulated windshield shade (best thing I ever bought they sell them here at PC SHOP)
Wheel Skinz Custom leather Steering Wheel Cover (second best thing I ever bought for this car. G2 wheel is horrible cheese grater. All the white stuff on the dash is your skin)
    ebay black dash cover
    ebay MFD cover.

All bought 11 years ago and still look good. If you buy high quality things they last forever.
