Where are the cigarette lighters in the 2010 model? Is there only 1?

No cigarette lighters but two power outlets. One under the center console and the other inside the compartment under the lift up arm rest between the front seats.

Although if you got a cigarette lighter from an old scrap car, it would fit! Better use it on the main (center console) socket which has a higher rating the the aux one under the center armrest).

Used to be able to buy them from Toyota, if you don't mind paying exorbitant amounts of money. Otherwise, Walmart. ;)

Why in the World would anyone stink up a new car with the reek of Smoke Damage ? And it gets into your clothes, it fouls the inside of the glass, and I understand it fouls up the lungs in humans to the point where it can actually kill you slowly, and painfully. I'd stick with the power oultlets and try breathing clean air that has been cleaned in the cabin air filter, and temperature controlled. Your passengers, and friends will appreciate the new car smell a whole lot more than the burning plant smell.

I guess I missed the part of the original post where the OP asked for your opinion on his personal habits.

I don't much care what other people do unless I have to share his habits or see them or otherwise be affected by them. To each his own.

You are affected by them. You pay much higher health insurance rates because of tobaco related illness.

I keep a simple rule - if they want to travel in MY car, they will NOT smoke in or near it. If they want to smoke in their own cars, they can - it's their life and their choices. If I care about them, I tell them I am concerned for their health, and that I hope that if there is anything I can do personally to help them stop smoking for good - they will ask it.

Some of you guys need to lighten up a little and quit looking for people to attack. The OP didn't even say he smoked, and if he did it wouldn't be our business. He probably wanted to know where the power outlets were, some people still call them lighters because that's what they used to be.

Also, once get a lighter, your next step will be to find the ash tray! Oops. Toyota didn't put one of those in, either!

I don't pay anymore. Also dieing from smoking cant cost more than living longer and neededing medical care for an extra 10-20 years then dieing from cancer or some other expensive death.

At the same time, we should be free (this used to be the land of the free after all) from the ever encroaching nanny state that some seem so quick to usher in. :cheer2: Anyone who doesn't know about the dangers of smoking at this stage is living in a mud hut.

I like the idea of no ash trays
Put the change on the door.
When we got they car they gave us a cheap ash tray we could stick on.
    Of course i didn't
They must be obliged by law so smokers don't discard the butts thru the window.
Don't think there are many Prius smokers.
I bet way under the average %:)

I once paid about $1,000 for a quit smoking drug for my close friend to help them quit smoking. This isn't an opinion, just a fact.

LOL. It's a rare smoker that doesn't consider the outdoors to be their own personal ashtray...
