    Mine had 3 miles on it when I got to test drive her and I put on 12 on my test drive. There we other buyers on the lot by my sales guy held the keys as we did the deal. As it was, we could not hang around for dealer prep, so they loaned us an Insight overnight. Driving the INsght overnight just confirmed we bought the better car.

    Did you buy your car from Tri-City Motors? I bought my Gen2 Prius from them in '05, my Gen 3 came from Hermiston.

    Each of my Prius (Priuses) had 3 miles when I drove them off.

    I sat in the car it had 4 miles. After I signed the papers and drove off , it had 6 miles. They drove it one mile to the gas station to fill it up. 1 mile to the gas station and back 1 mile.

    Just like you, My New PRIUS 5 was "broken In" by the Minimum Wage Auto Transporter. I see them flying down the Long Island Expressway with 'Transporter' plates on these new cars all the time. Usually at 75-80 MPH.

    My 2007 Prius Touring was sold as a "Brand New Car" by Competition Toyota of Middle Island, NY. It had 188 Miles on it when delivered.

    My New 2010 Prius 5 was also sold to me by Competition Toyota of Middle Island, NY again, as if it were an UN-USED New Car, it had been Driven for 167 Miles when delivered.

    Of course I immediately changed the oil and added the best oil filter I could, in order to rid the oil of as much wear contamination as possible. The 2007 now belongs to my relative. Only time will tell how damaging this abused new car was before I bought it.:(
