First off I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place for buying advice. If it's not please move it to the appropriate area.

I'm looking to getting a new Prius but I haven't been able to find any place with 0% financing anymore. I have great credit and can put a sizeable down payment but it's still in the 3-4% range and I don't want to do that. I live in the NYC area and all the dealership seems to be owned by the same person so I'm out of luck. I'm willing to make a trip if the price is right so my question is; has anyone been able to recently get a 0% new prius lately in the northeast area?

    Thanks for any help.

Welcome. This is a great place for advice. I don't think Toyota was ever offering 0% on the 2010 Prius. With that said, shop on-line till you find a dealer that can swing a decent APR.

I just bought from Courtesy Toyota in Orlando FL. They were offering:

    0% for 36 months.
    1.9% for 48
    2.9% for 60

I believe it is good through the end of May.

I saw a commercial on TV the other night offering 2.9% for 60 months. I have never seen 0% on the Prius offered. Perhaps something regional or a dealer offer? If you're offered 0%, be careful you're getting a good selling price and/or trade value.

The incentives like 0% financing vary by region. The 0% for the Prius is not available in the NY and NJ region, but it is in the PA region. You want to check dealers out there for that. Once you get the Prius, you can then get it serviced at your local dealer.
