Prius Questions (How do they hold up long term?)

There's a taxi driver in Canada who has put something like 250,000 miles on a Prius.

In CA the hybrid/battery part is warranteed for 10 years/150,000 miles. I personally feel it will go farther.

I'm at 50k on my 2004 (in 13 months).
No major problems. Still at about 50mpg+-
Tires were almost bald at 40k miles. Alignment, minor dash rattle, etc. have been only problems.
I have a few stone chips in the front paint(I'll get a clear bra next time). Shocks are starting to feel a little springy. Everything else works as new except the AM radio reception is weaker.

The battery pack costs around $3000. Toyota has not had to replace one because it failed since the Prius went into production in 1997. It is already clear that just as Toyota claimed originally, the battery will last as long as the car.
