How do you open the tailgate with engine running?

    i also got some issues. my problem to the power locks not operating the tailgate. is there are some bad ground in the tailgate? any help would much appreciated. thanks.

    The power locks do not open the tailgate, but unlocking allows the tailgate to be opened. Are you saying your tailgate remains locked when the other doors are unlocked?

    To put it in simplier terms:

    think of it like opening the hood. If you hit the unlock all doors button, its like pulling the hood release latch so its unlocked (yet still secured until you find the lever to release it).

    Same concept. If you hit the unlock all doors, the hatch is unlocked, but still engaged securely. You then are able to open it.
