Fred, Toyota offers mats as an option like they offer other extraneous extras.

Does the $22,388 include TTL and delivery charges; and 2)what would the car price be if the low apr deal was not used ?

NO, and the selling price of the car doesn't change if you do not use Toyota's 2.9 apr.

Toyota offers low interest rates, and the dealership tries to parlay it into MSRP pricing.

    What a deal ;)

What dealership tries to parlay it into msrp pricing?
    Not me.
If you read the entire paragraphs per car, you'll see the price of the car! In no instance is this MSRP on any of the cars.

I'll add your PM to me
It is not my intention to "pick" on you, and if I understand the numbers wrong, I'll be the first to thank you for correcting my errors and conclusions.

And yet, I looked over the pricing you posted, and still come to the same conclusion --
    36 payments of $215.5 is $7758
A down payment of $650, assuming 5% opportunity cost for 3 years is $723.5
The two together add up to $8481. Toyota's residual value stated by you is $15,504, so a zero apr financing by Toyota starts the car off at $23985.

For the package II with mats, this is MSRP + $750 Delivery + $200 mats + $300 if my arithmetic is correct.

Your math is not right. First payment is included in the drive offs so it's a wrong depreciation, and you are off with regards to Toyota's $650 lease bank fee they charge. Therefore, your calculations are skewed.

The most important thing is this: my clients show up, they get the deal I promised, great service, excellent training on their cars and the working of the cars, and things like free weekly carwash + a no hassler approach and a great deal they don't have to fight for!

Posting PMs is .... unusual. Uncool too.

ok, I'll take your point that the $650 upfront fees goes to Toyota rather than your dealership. This then works out to MSRP + $462 for a package II with mats + delivery.

So, is the dealership trying to charge MSRP while Toyota is offering 0% apr ? Within about $350, yes.

Is a lease costing MSRP+ when all charges are figured in ? yes.

I see little reason to change my opinion -- what a deal ;)

I told you, the car is not going @ MSRP. The price for the cars on lease match perfect with my selling pricing listed.
If I listed a II at $22,499 and MSRP is 23750, then you're incorrect and I don't care what broken calculator you are using to get to your numbers - they are not right.

You may have "told me," but that does not make it correct. It just means you have an attitude, and an inability to point out what if anything is wrong with the calculations I posted.

Residual + payments = $23082. Use your special car dealer calculator to verify that this number is greater than the base MSRP of $22,800. The difference of $282 can be argued to cover the cost of delivery, overpriced mats, and "savings". I don't know the exact delivery charges, but I estimated about $350 overall difference above. You say $300 below MSRP, starting from 22,500. Please stop whining over a $50 difference in arithmetic.

Taking your numbers at face value, you are charging 98.5% of MSRP -- but tacking on a 3.17% increase over MSRP for the leasing fee. I'll mention again that you say the leasing fee goes to Toyota and not the dealership, but clearly the customer is that much poorer.

And so it remains -- what a deal ;)

Why are you picking the car with the least profit between MSRP and invoice to use as an example? Why not the ones I am $700 under invoice on?
The residual + payments should be more than MSRP on a II. There's interest, albeit a small amount, and there's also Toyota's bank fee.
Try your numbers with a IV or a V I have listed.
You are shining a light on the car with the least amount of available discount. I mean, your motives are obvious.

You post a "deal", I show it is about MSRP.
Do you remember my original conclusion, that your dealership is parlaying manufacturer incentives in the form of 0% apr financing into dealership profit by trying to charge MSRP ? I think I am on pretty solid ground, given your new tactic of trying to change the topic, and of course the numbers speak for themselves.

You may not like having this pointed out, but don't try and muddle simple price discussion with personal attacks about 'motives' unless you want to continue giving the impression of being a typical car dealer who cannot stand a little truth in advertising.

There is no truth in what you post.
My cars are listed for sale or lease for at least $1000 to about $3000 under MSRP.
I think you need to go back and read .. example on just two cars, one the cheapest, one the most pricy:

Prius II msrp is 23750 I have up for 22,222. (1528 off MSRP)
Prius V MSRP is 34,420, selling or lease pricing 31,500. (2920 off the MSRP)

I am unsure of why you think these cars are at sold @ MSRP. I'm done trying to figure out how your calculations are being done but they are wrong... and I post these no hassle deals for Prius buyers who want to be treated right, quoted a number that isn't fluid and won't change once they get in the door AND who want the expertise of myself or my team in knowing how their car works, option by option. That also matters greatly with the technical end of these cars. No one wants to read manuals... they want phones paired, and Nav systems set and tutored. I do that also, as does the rest of my fleet team Nate & Jane. Our time is valuable, and we even do sessions for folks afterwards... and YES, even at my low no hassle wholesale pricing, we do this.

Wow. Speaking from the perspective of a Prius owner who actually is forced to deal with the various games that North Texas dealerships engage in, I can only say that I would love to be subjected to Dianne's advertising. It seems crystal clear to me. If I follow your apples/oranges reasoning, you believe that APR of 0% equates to a money factor leasing cost of 0% as well. If you want to purchase, pay cash or finance at 0%. If you want to lease and let Toyota assume the risk of the residual at the end of the lease term, then go that route, but choose one from Column A or one from Column B, but no substitutions :)
