Went on during the ride home last evening. At a light, I stopped and restarted the car and the warning went away. Checked the tire pressure upon returning home. While I generally keep them at 42/40, they were all around 35, so I topped them off and will monitor more closely. That is what this warning light is, right?
Tire Pressure Warning Light. The only light I am seeing in your picture is cruise control. Check out page 442-443 in your owners manual for the tire pressure warning system. Also, 214-219 for cruise control. Hope this helps
That is the indicator that you turned the cruise control on, which you do with a pushbutton on the small stalk towards the bottom on the right side of the steering wheel. It doesn't come on automatically when you start the car, which is why it wouldn't have been on after you restarted. There's a separate indicator for when you actually set a speed to maintain.
I did check the manual and was confused when I did not see the symbol that appeared. I do not use CC and there was no index by symbol. Thanks, Walterm, for the explanation! John
I actually did have the tire pressure warning light come on about a week ago. It was the first time that I have had a warning light come on in the 3+ years that I have owned my 07. Sure enough there was a nail in the tire.
The Tire Indicator Warning will be displayed at around 20 psi ... driving with actually increase the internal pressure so if the warning light went off - it dosent surprize me. Check you tire pressure when you get a chance - and Let me know if one was low. I experenced the same thing a few months ago. I watch the pressure a bit closer now. Problem never resurfaced. Mr. Bill
You can find a listing of the dashboard indicators in the Owner's Manual on pages 181 - 187. It is a hard manual to find things in, if you can find the PDF version of it to download (there was a thread a while ago with the URL) it's a big help.
