I bought a frost Katzkin on ebay and I'm looking for a reliable installer in NY metro area.

I called ShopAR (westbury NY) but they are pulling a scam by quoting different prices and hrs.
Initially, they had quoted $350-400 for 8:30AM arrival and picking it up at 11-11:30AM. I called back few days later and asked for such installation with me bringing the kit, then they changed their price to $575 and pickup time of 2-2:30PM.

They are charging around $1200 altogether (if you buy the kit from them), and many on priuschat are getting the price of $1000 (some with heated seats).
They are asking $1700 with heated seats which I find ridiculous.

I found someone in Brooklyn, NY who does Katskin leather install for $400. He does Katskin + install for $1000 (or little better). I have an appointment for this Thursday morning...I'll keep you guys updated and I'll post some pics after the install.
It's a black prius with misty leather.

Katzkin is your best resource - $400 is a decent price for a real Katzkin installer (carries warranty etc). I would never get them done outside of a real shop. A real shop does probably 20+ Katz a day - and hence knows what they are doing.... Double check to verify they do Katz for dealers....

The local shop here probably does 40+++ a day - along with in-shop, they send vans to dealers - and bring back interiors for the cars - quite an impressive thing to watch (unloading a van with 10+ interiors).
