Please forgive the ignorance ...I should really know more about this having worked for a stereo store, but the tech seems to have outpaced me as it tends to do.

My 04 Prius came with an old-school phone kit - it's not bluetooth, but is actually wired directly into the stereo. I'm wondering if there's any way to get a mod that will let me use my iPhone / iPod (have one of each) in place of the outdated phone that it was made for. It's made by Peiker and the cradle plate that comes with the kit does come off. It seems like all you would need is the cradle. I can't seem to find it on sale anywhere online.

Also FYI, I have the Prius model without the auxillary (3.5mm) input, otherwise this would be much easiler.

Any ideas? Anyone make this kind of modification? Any advice appreciated.

    Jesse

You can add a bluetooth handsfree like ones made by Parrot. That is your only option. Check out the mki9200.
