My car has been in the shop for THREE weeks! I accidentally ran over a piece of truck tire that was lying on the interstate during a bad storm. Dented fuel tank, tore out wiring injured bumper and parts underneath etd.

Had to try for old parts first, get then approval for new when old weren't available. Rumor has it I will get it back tonight. I MISS MY PRI!

Just be patience, at least you're approved to get new parts. :D
New OEM parts are mostly coming from Japan, hence the long wait-time.
So how much in costs we are talking about here for the damage you mentioned?

Just curious: Did your insurance count this as a collision or comprehensive claim? You may have seen my fire thread. I was told if I had hit a deer in the highway it was comprehensive. If I hit a mattress in the highway it was collision. The deductible cost was $400 more; I don't know yet if they'll count it against me on premium.

Hope you got your Pri back now!

I ran over something with feathers on a rainy dark night and the molding under the door on the passenger side got loose. The dealer ordered "clips" and clipped it up for me.

I was glad it wasn't too serious (for me anyway, the bird didn't do so well.)
