Makes it easier to sell off the 2010s, no?

How about having the AT pack in the UK ?

I wanted LED lights and radar cruise.. but it's simply not an option! ( we do have the HUD though)
So I cancelled and I'm waiting for the PHEV version.. :)

i'm glad here in austria we get nearly everything as we like it.
just three packages (basic, mid, premium), and the rest you can select from the list of options.

i ordered the black with bright interior, took the hdd navi-system with the apgs and will have the solarroof and the led headlights. the only thing that was not available was the 17" wheels with the solarroof. :(

the other thing - i really didn't care about that - you can only get the radar with leather interior...

In addition to my response above:

While there is inventory of both 2010 and 2011 cars (which I suspect will be short, if at all), some may decide to go with a 2010 since it will likely be less expensive (MSRP lower, and discounts likely higher, than 2011).

Others will decide to get a 2011, based on wanting a new model year for 1) any new items for MY, and 2) increased resale down the road for a MY11 vs. MY00.

A nice addition and I'd definitely pick it over Black/Dark Gray, but Black/Misty Gray is still the best combo for black exterior.

Wow, only 3%? We V with ATP owners are obviously overrepresented in this forum.

Why cater to dumb Americans who don't know their Roman numerals?

yeah, I know. I just like control there. Tell me the automatic lights stay off in P, and I could live with it.

Also, I'd like the backup camera on the rearview like the Canadian version IIRC.

If you're going to offer more interior color options I'd really like to change the dashboard from black to a medium-light gray. -My two cents.

They have a 30 second delay (factory default) that's customisable. They turn off after the car is locked.

    2012 right? sounds about right.

I'm with Hill. I'll upgrade my 06 when there is a substantial modification, i.e. increase in mileage, EV range, or plug. I will, of course, still keep my 06 also, but I will buy a plug in or EV prius or Rav4.

I don't like personal insults and attacks any more than you would. So, can you just tone it down please?

You'll likely never know what it's like trying 4 seat mods, spending a month building a seat to try 'n work things out. Be glad for that.

So the side mirror buttons will not be back lite?

Will there be a roof rack offered?

The Prius is more my size of car and the 50 MPGs is addictive. I don't see another 5 seat hatch that's as good.

'n maybe that's because you're not feeling the pain of planning to sell and lose $11k+ within a year, on a car.

    and you're driving a 3rd Gen.

The thing i don't get is that Toyota isn't offering an option for power folding mirrors !
At least they don't in Europe !
That would truly make the Prius a perfect car, well at least for me !
The worst of all is that they do offer that option in small cars like the IQ and the all new Auris Hybrid so why not in a Prius ?
Not to offer that in a Prius is a very bad decision by Toyota which i can't understand !
I was hoping for a change in the 2011 Model but i looks like Toyota once again didn't listen to customers requests !

Over here, the power folding mirrors are reserved for pricey or luxury vehicles. Toyota's top sedan, Avalon, does not have it...but my Sienna Limited does.

I have to agree it seems like a sensible feature or option for a European Prius. I recall parking in places where the entire road including parking seemed narrower than a single lane of a North American roadway. The only sensible way to park was to fold the mirrors and you get tired of doing that manually every time you park.

You can't get them on a North American Prius either but with wide roads and wide parking spaces I don't think that North Americans would use them much or see much value in them.

I love my 2009 Prius and personally prefer it over the current/2010 model (options per price was better). But I won't bash the 2010 model, it's a great car too. After all, we are all brothers.

On that note I plan to keep my 2009 Prius for 15 more years! I will skip this entire current generation of Priuses. I may even skip the generation after that.
