I installed them tonight. Bought the kit at carhidkits.com
really very simple install, took about 20 min. The light does not scatter and REALLY lights up the ground in front of the car. They match the LED headlights pretty much perfect too. I blocked the headlights to see. Now if I could just figure out how to turn the fogs on with the parking lights my life would be complete.

I will get pics and post later.

Would you mind posting the part number you got, and perhaps an explanation of what you had to do to install them? Since you say you have the LED headlights, I assume you have a V. Does the time you quote include the uninstall of the existing tungsten fog lights?
    Thanks.

Sure, once on the site you just click on Toyota>Prius>6000k kit>at the bottom you tell them year/make/model (even though you already chose it) and choose which lights they are for. They sent me the digital slim ballast and I did not pay the $20 upgrade fee. You can also just choose the 6000k kit for the H11 bulb, either way works.
Install is simple; take off cover below each light, take out current halogen bulb put the HID bulb in, make 4 connections. I stuck the ballast on a metal fixture right below the housing. Put the black tray piece back on and you are done. No special wiring or modifications needed, just plug and play. You use the stock housing and everything all you replace is the halogen bulb.

Hope that helps. Let me know if I can provide any other information.

I have a Pkg III that does not have factory installed fog lights. I want to install fog lights BUT with HID bulbs NOT the Halogen bulbs. Does anyone know if someone out there sells a complete fog light kit WITH HID bulbs, without me having to buy a regular halogen fog light kit and then having to buy an HID kit to convert the halogen to HID's. Thanks in advance for any input.

Not that I know... most kits assume you want some sort of light when you install them

I'm looking into upgrading my 2006 Prius fog lights to HID. I found this kit on eBay. It's more expensive than the other kits. Has anyone used this kit?

Will these lights void anything? I have a 2010 Pkg 5 and worry about the increased draw from the new bulbs. I dont know anything really about HID bulbs thank for the input.
