I just got the Droid X and it paired easily with my 2010 prius and I can play my music folders over the blue tooth connection in the audio/nav. system. But, it will not transfer my phone contacts.

It will go through the motions like its going to happen and then I see the words attempt failed.

Any one else able to solve this problem?

    Thanks

    Michelle

Ok here is a follow up solution to my problem in case anyone else needs the answer.
The first 10 ten times (slow learner) I tried unsuccessfully to transfer my phone contacts from droid X to prius, I never saw the little words scrolling at the top of the droid screen. Its inside the little white banner at the top and it mentions phone contacts amoung other things, like USB connection, etc. When you see the wording about phone contacts roll up, pull it down and Lo and behold there is a question asking you if transferring the contacts is ok, once that was selected as Ok, the contacts took about 5 sec. I only have about 100 though. Then I did my speed dial settings and felt very satisfied. Now Droid X and Prius are simpatico! So nice when everyone plays nicely together.

Thanks. I couldn't get my Droid X contacts to transfer either. Those little words at the top of the screen are hard to see,but they are there. Just pull down that top taskbar, and click the okay.

Has anyone been able to get ringtones to play through? I hear my ringtone on my Droid X, but get the standard ring in the Nav. My previous Razr V3 played the ringtone through the Nav system so I know it's possible, and I expected to be able to do the same with a newer Motorola.

Nope, on both my Sienna's system and Prius, you get the standard ringtone when a calls comes through. I hear my cell phone ring...and then the NAVI's ringtone.

Yes this worked like a charm for me too with my new Droid X. I too did not see the little words at the top of the screen. I used to have the LG Voyager and it transferred the contacts without an extra "approval", so I never expected to have to do this "approval" with the Droid. But everything is synced and working nicely. Thanks Michelle (Mel1000).

Thank you so much! I was going crazy. I had already done it successfully once but my phone book needed updating. I tried and tried but it wouldn't update because I had forgotten about having to check the notification bar on the phone. I then deleted my existing phone book on the Prius, thinking maybe that would help it along - and of course I then had NO contacts and couldn't get my phone book transferred.

I have an X2, can you post step-by-step instructions on how to do this? I haven't been able to figure it out.
