how can charger hv battery back

    please help

    I left my car without driving for a period of approximately 5 months
    And now I can not drive a car because of low HV Battery Back
    How can I charge the battery charger is there and what is his name and type of Charger
    Knowing that I live in Iraq have brought the car from the U.S.
    There is no repair center in Iraq for prius
    ???Where can I find a HV battery charger WITH PHOTOS

    Hello and welcome Ali.
    First off, you "can not drive" because the car will not start up (go to ready mode)? If that is the case, it is your 12volt secondary battery that needs charging. That is the most common problem seen. Pretty unlikely that it is your HV battery.
    A standard battery charger will charge the 12volt battery (in the rear of the car). See Owners manual.

    It is the same as any other car. Go to the Middle East equivalent of walmart and buy a battery charger. Or take it to any auto dealership and have them jumpstart it for you. I highly reccomend smart jumper cables to be used to prevent against reverse polarity and sparking.

    I live in Iraq and does not have centers for sale we can you send me a picture of the charger and is there a substitute for the original Charger

    There is no original charger.

    If any other vehicle has a dead battery, it is an identical process to jump start it using these:

    have experience from another car charger for an hour because I did not ... What is the most successful solution!!!

    You are confusing two things.

    Do this:

    1) Connect jumper cables
    2) Wait like 10 seconds
    3) Push brake pedal, push power button. Make sure car goes into READY mode
    4) Disconnect jumper cables
    5) Walk away for an hour OR put into drive and drive around OR put into drive, put one foot on the brake and the other on the gas, and force charge it

    THE ENGINE IS YOUR CHARGER!!!

    The battery you jump is to get the car into READY. After that, the engine takes care of the battery. Even at 1bar, the HV battery (the picture) is still at 40% charged which is fine.

    Your car has 2 batteries. The one you jump to get it into READY mode, and the big big one that charges from the engine.

    At this point:
    Just reconnect the cables in the car to the battery.
    Reconnect the jumper cables to the battery.
    Press the start button with brake applied.
    Assuming the Ready light appears, your car will operate normally.

    what do you mean high voltage? all battery chargers are either for 12V batteries or 6V motorcycle batteries.

    That is the special hybrid battery charger. But why do you need it?
