Rear view camera problem

    An interesting change has occurred in the view from the back-up camera on my 09 prius. The view has always shown a small amount of the back bumper for reference and a nice wide view for safety
    without any explanation, the view has changed to show the entire bumper, the lower portion of the tailgate, and the license plate. this covers about the lower 1/3 of the screen.
    there has been no damage or problem to cause this and the
    camera area appears the same as always. any thoughts?

    Your camera has moved in the mounting. It probably just needs a pull or push to put it back into the proper spot.

    Or perhaps the last straight image was of a telephone pole; a very close telephone pole.

    thanks guys...it is the only problem I've had since I bought the car. can't be unhappy about that.

    You need it replaced you have a crack and moisture got inside. Dealer will warranty of course. Your camera is amazing this is not possible you should replaced it.
