    JDM Accessories for 2010 Prius

I was exploring the accessories for the new Prius, and I thought about looking into what the Japanese have over there.

    This is what I found.

    Here are a few:

I think this is the key fob.

Wouldn't it be nice to have these options?

That keyfob is a wallet-sized smart key fob (like the one offered on the Lexus LS models). They're thin and fit in your wallet. The downside is that there aren't any buttons (as far as I know) on the fob (i.e. the lock/unlock buttons).

some of these accessories are available through sigmaautomotive.com

It is also same as the one offered by Mazda, though the Mazda ones have buttons.
I have one for my CX9. I don't think I want to put it into my wallet, put wallet in my back pocket and sit on it. Trust me. Don't do it. It could break....
I actually like the old fob better on key chain. The new one (or CX9 one) has large footprint on keychain. I think Prius is going backward on this.
Many CX9 owners complained about the SmaryKey. We will hear the same from 2010 Prius owners soon.

The rear trunk mat is exactly what I am looking for (if plyable or rubber) Any idea how I can get one online? tx

The PriusChat shop has two ... a very nice Weathertech with a tall lip and an OEM all-weather mat. Prices are quite nice as well.

bought the OEM all weather from the PC shop.

fyi, it's a 2 pc mat that fits together. IMO, the one piece units would do a better job at retaining liquid spills.

I bought the OEM all weather from the PC shop too, but if i had known about the one piece JDM one, I wouldve waited and gotten that instead.

While true, the 1-piece cargo mat would make it more difficult to access the storage area underneath.

Unless you carry a lot of fluids that leak and/or have no need to get to the underneath cargo area, the 2-piece set might be a better choice.

There are several accessories I'd like to get, but when I do the math for conversion of yen to dollars, it prices the accessories out of sight for my budget.

    Tideland,

That's the one I want! I bought the two piece one from PCshop and was very disappointed both that it is two piece and that it is this extremely thick (1 cm!) heavy piece of rubber. How do I get the one in your picture? Thanks!

I have the WeatherTech rear cargo mat and am very pleased with it. Bought it here @ the PCShop.

Sigma doesn't carry that thin key fob. I would like one of those since I don't have any other keys other than a the smart key fob. I carry a clip so if it could fit in that, it would minimize what i had to carry with me.
