Open your wallet, again. So, far I've purchased

    • $120 in wax/polish/shiny stuff
    • $300 in 3M Invisible Mask clearbra
    • $35 in cupholder de-squeakers
And, it looks like I'm giving up next weekend to clean/seal/wax my new car!

Thanks for the great advice. Keep up the good work.

I've purchased the OEM rubber floor mats and cargo mat from the store here. Like $200 I think. And I ordered some stuff called RejeX that was recommended on this forum, for probably $30. And I bought some random car washing supplies at Target for maybe $20.

Was that price for your clear bra with installation?

No, I will be self-installing. It actually includes three separate parts- the hood/bumper/mirrors, the fender, and the grill. I shopped several places and liked the extra cuts in this "model" for lack of a better word.

As far as the detailing stuff, I was looking to make an investment in some high quality product. This too includes several items, I went with the Zainos Total Protection kit including clay bars- to get the hood crystal clean before applying the film.

The console pads just seem to make sense. I'm adjusting to smaller and fewer storage options in the Prius, and it will help not to have my sh*t sliding around all over the place.
