    In Europe you can choose next year three types of the Prius;
    - the standard version
    - the tech edition
    - the business edition

The tech edition is the only version with the parking assist system. This Prius will be the only car with this system in Europe.
The business edition will have the JBL-system and a navigation system with TMC.

still can't add an attatchment to this thread. When I reply to other topics, there's a space at the bottom to add a file attatchment, but not when I reply here. Also can't seem to attatch a file to a topic that I start.
Is this feature locked in some threads?

    ???

Danny wrote a few days ago that locked that feature up in this forum because the news items also appear on the Home page of the site and the attachments cause that page to become blank.

    I see.
I put the pic into the file library forum. Maybe other people could put their photoshopped Prius pictures in there too? I'm looking forward to getting more familiar with the software by playing around with my Prius pics.

May i ask how you got your driving licence, then? In New York you have to parallel park to pass the test.

In CT, right next door, you dont have to parallel park either.

That's because your parking spaces are wide enough to fit a Hummer (original one) and then some. In Europe, cars like the Avalon will be hard to park.

I have the T Spirit 2007 model with the JLB, Bluetooth and Reverse/Parking Assist. I have tried the parking assist several times and the consensus is that you need 10 minutes to program it. On the one occasion where there was plenty of time (Sunday morning) I spent a couple of minutes persisting with the automated parking process and it worked :) The car was dead centre of the parking space.

When you select the option to auto park it then highlights what it considers to be a parking space on the screen, usually with great accuracy. However, it then seems to regularly insist that the steering wheel isn't straight, the car is too far/close to the parking space and with a queue of 10 cars piling up behind you, you feel morally obliged to switch it off and just DIY...

Once it is set up and happy you then have to agree to the "I am responsible for what happens next" disclaimer. Reverse at more than 2 mph and it turns off.

Intelligent parking assist has been available in switzerland for more than a year too, I have tested it myself. IPA is documented well on youtube, you can check it out there if you dont know it.
Maybe they updated the system now, otherwise this is not new

Yep, that's why if you look at the dates in this thread, they're from 2005.
