Blue Lockpick

I have Blue Lockpick from Coastal Electronic Technologies installed. I am ashamed I did not do it my self. It took Ifixem about 10 seconds to do it, but I had the car in for the searing recall and 35K and replace the cracked fog light so I decided to let him do every thing. I have to say this is the easiest install of yet if you have the center dash speaker. Pop the speaker out unplug the wiring harness from the back of the MFD and plug in the Blue Lockpick and plug the harness to the Blue LockPick. Dave did a great job. Works great, and it is compatible with all my other mods including iPod and CAN-View. CAN-View still auto starts! Hit the Map button and let "Dave do the dance for you". Bluetooth disable also works great. I decided not to get the one with the DVD interface and I am now regretting that decision. I think it is a good implementation and if any of you do not have the Bluetooth interrupt and want this mod this is the easiest you can get and totally reversible. It is even better than the EV mod and much easier to install. If all you want is the Nav disable you can "do the dance your self or your passenger can but this is much easier and my wife is computer and touch screen challenged and describing the dance to her and watching her do it is more dangerous too much eyes off the road. I you are one who does this thing yourself, get one for the safety of yourself and those around you. That goes quadruple if you live in and around Olympia, I don't want you out there doing the dance while driving when I am around!
