Signal Mirror Options

    IF that thing was ever put on my side mirror I would rip it off in just under 30 seconds of driving.

    I want my side mirror clean. OEM manufacturers make it look suave by having it recessed into the mirror.

    I've considered it for 2 seconds but decided that it looks too ghetto. I might reconsider it if it's mounted behind the mirror like the OEM Avalon

    Of course the OEM Toyota parts would be the better choice. A friend of mine picked up a pair of the Ebay ones. He hasn't wired them up yet (it's not hard to do, just need to run the wires behind the door panels and through the grommets on the side that feed into the body.... that's the difficult part). Also, the LEDs aren't that bright. He's using the orange LED's and it's hard to see them in broad daylight when you apply 12V to them.

    They fit good, but definitely not perfect compared to the factory mirror covers we took off. They'll pass off as 9/10 look & fitment, but if you want perfect fit and finish, get the OEM JDM Toyota mirror covers.

    I'll take some pics the next time I see him.

    Yeah please do. The only advantage those ebay turn signal mirror covers have is it has 3 sets of lights, yellow LEDs for turn signal, white LEDs for entry and 1 white LED for side marker. Is his ebay name "hawthron18"?
