Wow that's crazy talk haha. Theres talk where you can slightly modify h9 bulbs to work with h11 housings other than that you gotta do some serious modifications.

I already got two nice HID kits from XenonDepot, I'm thinking about just getting a real cheap 55W Hid kit from DDM Tuning for $45 but they're out of stock till October 30th. Here's a link to them http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DDM-HID-Kit-Slim-Ballast-35W-or-55W

I mean they don't look as waterproof as your kit rodney or the one's I have now but they look like they could do the job. Plus I know other members that have bought from them and were okay.

I'm still questioning the color of these Hi-beams nothing over 6000 nothing under 4300. I was thinking 5000 exactly Cause it's like pure pure white. but for maximum lumens I'd go with 4300 hmmm

    Hey STRIKE67 !!!

    :):):):)

As far as 4-H11's that would be nice to have them all on ... but I agree you'll need some modification definitely !!! It can be done !!!

Wow you can't beat that price !!!

I like the closest to white or a hint of blue in an HID for the Prius, I think you'll be happy with the 4300K that you're looking at ... Nice Pure White like you stated !!!

    POST PIX ASAP !!!

Holy s**t, Hawaiianbuilt. I haven't read this thread in 2 weeks and suddenly your car is a beast. This is why I love the Prius mod community. It's my favorite on this forum.

BTW Hawaiianbuilt, thanks for making the rest of our cars look like crap. LOL.

Those visors look great! Only thing you need now is some dark V.I.P tint! Black it out :). I REALLY like those rims and tires... Any idea of how much it would cost to get the same tires/rims? I'm seriously interested. Thanks!

We'll see !!!

After seeing your pics with the 3000K HID foglights, it looked like my car at night (only I have LED headlights, no HIDs). But in your pics, you can still see the orange side marker light still on and it really throws off the look of the front lighting. You can either disable it (pull the bulb out) or re-wire it like I did HERE so you turn it into a blinker that lights up with the turn signals. Not as good as a true side marker, but almost as good since cars to my side can now see me signaling. Either way, it will really clean up the lighting in the front and make a pretty noticable difference.

Nice visors! Definitely the first thing I'll be doing. Very useful especially when it's raining here and I still want to crack open the window for that nice cool air...

Actually I'll probably put in an order next week lol.

How exactly did the install go? Pretty much clean surface...and align before putting on 3M?

    HEY JORDANR !!!

    :):):):)

It is very useful !!! Tried it out for the first time this morning on the way to the Inland Empire !!!

I think you'll be satisfied with this JDM Genuine Toyota Product !!!

Contact Yukimi at My Auto Fashion !!! Yukimi is a first generation Japanese lady who speaks English with a Japanese accent so please be patient !!! She's great !!!

The install was awesome, the instructions are in Japanese however, there are pictures that are self explanatory. Just clean all surfaces with Rubbing Alcohol to prep up and you'll be set to go. There are tabs on the 3M tape that you can remove during the installation which makes it real easy. If you need help definitely let me know !!!

I'll be more than happy to help !!!

Yes I think I asked you about yours... although I forgot the brand you mentioned.. (Nokya was it?). Still teeter-tottering on the bulb... winter is coming soon so I prob. won't install any til next spring when the carpark is clean of all the sand and crud.

Any suggestions as to which type? Most seem to be available in online stores only.

    Hi Rodney,

Just wondering if you can message me the cost of the clear Bra. Also where does the clear bra start and stop ? It's hard to tell, your car looks so clean.

    Thanks

I installed the Nokya bulbs on my Gen2. (Very) Slightly better visibility.

DDM Tuning has HID kits cheap ($35) and a lot of people have success with them (although I'd recommend that you avoid the slim ballast kits).

I'm about to order a 55W Slim ballast HID kit from ddm. Why avoid it?

I've heard that the slim ballast kits are more flaky than the normal ones. Admittedly, the advice is only based on user comments made on a few car forums and you may have a different experience.

The main difference between the original and slim is that the original Raptor kits are analog, while the slims are digital. I've had slims for several months with nothing but good things to say.
