So, I've been scouring over pictures which we've been finding of the '06, and I've seen (atleast in the Japan release photos) that the center console has a little DVD emblem next to the Eject button.

I'm wondering - is this going to only be a JP vs EU or US option?
And also respectively, will that be DVD Audio only (like on the Acura) or will there be any video functionality?

    Anyone have any further insight?

    Thanks!

Wow! and that looks like a DTS logo underneath it! Plus the MP3 and WMA logos under the tape deck!

    I WANT TO UPGRADE!!!

Now, the MP3/WMA does show in what are believed to be the American release of the cars.. but its really difficult to tell/see if the DVD logo is on the american side of the cars.

Anyone have even better looks, or even physically been in an '06 for the US market space to try to verify, or otherwise?

The buttons also are Disc | TV | AM/FM

Wonder how much a head unit upgrade will cost :)

sniff! i wanna upgrade too. but it'll be pricey if they do offer it this year. maybe in a couple of years it'll be more reasonable.
