That is what warranties are for. Take it to your dealer and have them fix it.

 

I don't have a clue about the MID, but for the need for frequent jump starts make sure that a dome light, rear passenger light, or hatch light isn't in the 'on' position. I presume you'd notice the parking lights or headlights if they were on all the time.
