<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Hokie-Dave\";p=\"78069)</div> Congrats on the purchase of the '02. You'll find that you are one of a small, almost forgotten bunch of us on the site. I would recommend that you have the dealer run the vin to make sure all recalls have been tended to. IIRC, '02's had the steering rack, and all years of the classic have one for the hybrid battery.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(V8Cobrakid\";p=\"78173)</div> Well, I'm in the <50,000 category too, with 4,000 miles on it.
Wow almost half a million, that's pretty impressive. That's a Gen I Prius right? Would you happen to know if it's still running the original traction battery.
Have you had problems since you reached 100,000 miles? I'm thinking of getting a used one but it's almost at 100k. Please let me know. Thanks!
Hi Amy. The post that you're asking about is over five years old, so its unlikely that this person is still monitoring this. You'd be better off starting a new topic to ask your question.
Bought our 2004 Prius used with 101k on the odometer in June of 10. So far we are close to 108,000. Have no idea what original owner did but I'm gonna change the 12 v battery this Thursday, off from work. lent it to a friend and car did not come back the same.
