Now that a cold and snowy WI is coming forth, just wondering how the Prius behaves in really really cold weather, like below zero, and how does it handle in the snow. Can it plow through 4 inches of snow?

Four inches of dry snow is fine. Four inches of uphill wet snow on ice will stop a Jeep.

The Prius does very well in the winter. Make sure you have good tires, and consider a block heater if you do a lot of driving. Many cold weather Prius drivers also block the grill.

Temperature isn't a big deal, slippery roads are. My 08 does fine in winter, down to -40 Celsius. The stock tires are garbage in snow & ice, dedicated snow/winter tires are a requirement, not an option. Then you'll be fine.

The temp here in MN has not been super cold yet but, I have driven mine in about 5 inch's of wet heavy snow and it did ok. Temp was about +28 F if I remember correctly. I kept my head and went slow.
