Cool shot i took of my 2010

    I figured i would show you guys what i feel is a cool pic of my 2010. Directly uploading the picture to PriusChat makes it look awful; so i am giving a link to it on my Flickr page. Hope you guys enjoy:)

    Awesome picture! How long was the exposure? It appears the stars moved a good 1/8 of an inch during the picture.

    69 seconds at ISO 100 and an aperture of 2.8

    Here is another one at the same location. I didn't spend any time framing this one but the mountains look cool in the background.

    where in hell did you find a road that lets you park in the middle of the road for 69+ seconds with no traffic? Is this a Utah thing?

    I stand by what I said before the shot is too far away but it looks like something from Star Trek.

    Nobody is arguing with your opinion. We just laugh at how lacking your comment was. Next time try to make your criticism a little more constructive. People are much more receptive if they feel like you are trying to help them instead of insult them.

    Sure. As far as aesthetics goes, it's a fantastic photo. You have quite an eye. But it's difficult to see the car in detail so it's hard for me to agree its a cool shot of your Prius. It's a cool shot in general. If you took a picture of your Prius on the moon, is it a cool picture of your Prius or the moon?

    But I'm being extremely picky and don't even
    make much sense. Playing devils advocate here. Just one of those days for me haha. Maybe I was just disappointed cause I wanted to see your car up close.

    The second picture doesn't work for me. My eye immediately asks: What is the subject in this photo? The car or the mountains? If it's the car, then it's too small. If it's the mountains, then the car doesn't add to the photo. The way the car is composed to the left leaves the viewer asking "Is the car driving away from something? We don't know what that something is, nor is the car in motion. Also, that telephone pole rising above the hood of the car is distracting and is easy to remove in post.

    Thank you for your input.
    As i stated previously. The second picture was just a throw away shot i spent almost no time on. The purpose of the picture was for figuring out how long i would need the exposure to be before setting everything up in the middle of the road. The only reason i posted the pic is i thought the mountains looked pretty neat. :D
