I would like the cruise control to be more efficient in eco mode--slow down the acceleration to speed when resuming from a lower speed, allow a deceleration range of 5 mph on level ground and inclines and implement an acceleration range of 5-10 mph on descents.

Better design console for more cupholder room. The cupholders do not rock. Not even close. Ugh. They **ck! :D

Some kinda lil pull out drawer or pull down thing for change/coins. We Prius drivers are frugal sorts. We like change rattling, we feel at ease when we have a few coins stealthed in the car.

Ummmmmm, Toyota? I don't think anyone else could get away with a $30K - 32K car with plastic wheel covers. Now that you're gettin' away with it, could you please make them look GOOD? 'Nuff said.

Dianne, still a little hung over from the Prius 10 year celebration in Malibu!

I didn't read through this thread...so I'm sure this was already mentioned: Any redesign to get rid of the split back window and increase visibility out the back!!!

I'm sure this has probably been mentioned several times, but my biggest issue is the text display for SAT radio that only displays 16 characters of text for the song and artist. Every other car I've seen displays the whole name of the song, or at least scrolls through it. Very annoying.

I would lower the height that the hatch raises to. Little over one month in and I already have a good number of gashes from the love connection the hatch makes with my garage door hardware.

I LOVE the split rear window. The headlights of most cars following me are blocked by the bar in the window.

Yea, its a Prius driver snicker. Dumb tailgating SUV driver, doesn't he know that his lights do not make it past the rear spoiler?

A lower height means that more people hit their head on the corners of the door!

Stop the induced regen when I take my foot off the gas pedal. I want a full coast with no pressure on the pedal.

    I agree
I would also like to be able to change between KLM and Miles and see km/liter display (like in Japan - i think) rather than liter/100.
    Give us the option.

Poor rear and side visibility and impossible depth perception. During the first month of owning my 2010 Prius, I backed into another vehicle -- leaving a big dent in the bumper. Yesterday, I backed into another car, scaping the paint off the other bumper side. Many times, when pulling into or backing into a parking garage space, I bump the rear and front ends into the wall. It's crazy-making because I'm a good drive. The only solution -- and it's only a partial one -- is to hang my head out of the driver's side window, look back and forth repeatedly while moving the car -- AND to remove all of the headrests (except for the driver's seat. Another solution is to simply accept the problem and to not waste money on fixing the bumpers because it WILL happen again.

Regarding depth peception, it is very difficult to tell how close the car is to the curb. Inevitably, I'm a foot or more from the curb. . Again, I have to hang my head out of the window or to get out of the car to see if I'm close enough.

For such a sophisticated and high tech car, these problems are unbelieveable and ridiculous. Despite these issues, however, I don't regret buying the car and would buy it again.

I miss hand E-brake and absolutely hate the foot parking brake. I refuse to use it.

Also, the sport steering/suspension/wheels should be available as option on every trim and not just Prius V.

At the risk of being boo'ed and banned from this forum, the main thing turning me off my beloved Prius is ........ it's looks. It doesn't look classy either externally, where it resembles the lower of Toyota's range, or internally, where the materials let it down. Sure it looks better when its all polished up - so that's what I do.

Maybe its the rear 'fin' or the big flappy bulges round the wheels.

The interior of the doors. The arm rest insert in the door trim is too flimsy. The armrest on my driver's door has already separated from the main door panel. There is no way to repair it and it must be replaced.

I have more than one thing, like most of the folks here. Here's my list:

    1) Better front seats. The Best OEM seats Ive had were from the Toyota MR2, the original one from 1985, I think. Nice and very adjustable.

    2) Better-looking/feeling steering wheel. What's wrong with basic dark gray/black? How about leather-wrapped? I find the silver trim distracting, I can see it in my peripheral vision. Or, just go back to the Gen 2 (2009) Prius wheel.

    3) I miss the animation graphics from my 2009. More fun to look at.
