Which is why I probably won't take them up on their $77 offer!

I keep hoping someone will come out with a Plug-N-Play HD Radio Module that can replace the XM module, I'd be all over that! Digital radio with no subscription! :D

PAC offers a HD radio. You use it in conjunction with their AUX iPOD adapter. The combination isn't cheap.

A few days after my 3 month trial expired, I decided to renew the subscription as well. They offered me 6 months for $4.99/month (XM everything package). But when I got in my car and listened to my radio, the steering wheel buttons didn't go to it either, I had to use the button on the dash (AM/SAT) because the sequence for the steering wheel was now AM1,FM1,FM2,AUX, instead of what it used to be (FM1, FM2, AM, SAT1,SAT2,SAT3,AUX). I also noticed that I only had music channels, so I called them back up and they told me to turn my radio to station 1 for 15 minutes and that they would reset the radio. After the 15 minutes my radio was completely back to normal. So I think that they accidentally renewed my subscription for the music package instead of the everything package, which also causes there to be a loss of functions with steering wheel buttons.
    -Hope this helps someone

I had to deal with XM at work enough times for our fleet of vehicles I resolved to never purchase anything from them personally, I just could not stand to work with them anymore than I did. For those that don't have to ever call customer service, it can be a great service, but those on the administrative end will tell a different story.

I hate to deal with them too. Fortunately I have an assistant and she spent 4 hours on the phone with them last week. It was awful. I could hear her side of the conversation from where I was working and she has the patience of a tortoise. She finally got through to a supervisor who was able to resolve everything within 5 minutes. Or at least I think so, I will know when I get my next invoice. Just awful. I expected one of the men she spoke to to tell her his name is "Peggy".
