I am new here, but I want to buy my Prius this week.
I'm going to get a II Blizzard Pearl, with a few options, the MSRP is $24,049. I can't seem to find out what the rebate or dealer cash is in SoCal. I had heard it was $1500 in Northern California.
Does anyone know what it is in SoCal (OC or LA) ?

    thanks :)

Also - just looking to get a good deal, is invoice less rebate unrealistic?
I'm flexible - I have seen some great prices posted on here, but seems like they are not in Cali, maybe those states have more rebates.

You might try putting in your choice at, bear with me here, newcars.overstock.com (really). They show the local discounts available for your zip code. You can also get a list of dealers with inventory, and what they will sell the car to you for, with their "certified dealers" supposedly honest, upright and loyal car dealers (!)

For my zip code, they are showing a total of $1,500 to $2,500 off MSRP from various dealers within 50 miles, with pricing from $21,044 to $22,044 on a Blizzard Pearl II with dark grey interior.

Great site that is ... Looks like I can get one for $1080 below invoice plus tax/plate.
Not bad at all. Hope to pick one up by Saturday. Thanks again FS - very cool.
Will post a pic once I take delivery - can't wait ... my old car gets 13 mpg, will be a nice change :)

This went fast ... I got my car (msrp $24,060) for $21,690 and .9% for 60 months.
BIG thanks to fshagan for his tip on the pricing - it made all the difference.
Got the car, just drove it home - it is awesome, I love it ...

I think if I would of taken the 0%, I had to give up the $750 dealer cash, but I could be wrong. I got the $750 dealer cash and 0.9% for 60 months.
I'm pretty sure dealers can't bump the 0%, so I think I did the correct program. I plan to pay it off in 24 months, so the $750 was better.
