Well - didn't put much thought into it and wanted to use some of the initial choices posted by another member. This is not scientific, nor will be forwarded to Toyota. If you're indifferent - don't take part in the poll, if none of the choices apply....

ooops. didnt take any pics except for after install. it was pretty easy though.

had file for install. goes step by step...much easier to do than EV switch on SPM....

i actually started the install at 8.30 PM, finished at 10 pm. would have been done sooner, but...it was kinda dark, so had to move the one light around to see what i was doing. only tool is pliers an 10 mm wrench if disconecting battery (keep in mind if you do this, you need to record your mileage if you are tracking it because it will reset everything except odometer)

As the owner over the past few years of several Apple MacBook laptops, I think it would be cool if the Toyota emblem was LED-lit (during operation of the Prius) as is the Apple logo on the cover of Apple laptops.

But I'm fine with the Prius emblem as it is...

I chose not to disconnect my (-) term as I didn't see the risk as high provided I was 100% certain on wires. I didn't want to lose radio settings, and it's much easier to test this way.

ya wishing i hadnt either. i filled up my tank with 2 bars left since trip A reset as well. on paper i should have been around 63.7 mpg... ended up with 53.9!! should have done about 7.2 gallons, i ended up with 8.335.

no i seriously doubt that disconnecting the battery made a difference since i did record what the MFD said before and after... but can only refill in a few weeks and see what happens

IIRC, in Japan, blue is their "ecological" color, much like green is here in the states, hence the blue badging. Notice that on all Toyota hybrids, the "Hybrid" badge has a blue stripe on it.

As previously mentioned, I'm indifferent about the color, and I have a Sandy Beach Metallic car.
