One of the LED's in the top, brake light section of the light is out. I've had the whole light assembly off the car and can't for the life of me figure out how to replace the LED. Looks like you have to take the stinkin assembly apart. Anybody know how to replace the LED?

    Thanks,

There is no provision to replace one LED brake light. You have to buy a new tail-lamp assembly. Or you can devise your own method. The assembly is held together with heat-sensitive glue. You can put it in the oven at a carefully selected temperature (so you don't melt the plastic but do melt the glue) and then you can take it apart.

    Good luck!

I'm pretty sure you can't open it with an oven like you can with headlights. I tried hard to get it open, and finally ended up cutting into the side of the assembly.
