I had 2007 Gen fully loaded (I forgot what package that was)

Money is tight so I went for a used 2010 Prius Gen 3 Package II.

Nearly everything about the Gen III seems like an improvement.

Two items of note for me were the keyless entry only activates with your hand on the driver's door.

Also the cargo area finish materials seem somewhat cheap compared to the Gen II. (That could be my imagination)

First upgrade for me will be tint, and then Nav.

:rockon:Congrats! I'm sure you'll enjoy it just as much or more as your Gen II.

It only activates on the drivers door because you got a Prius II. The II and III have one door SKS. The IV and V have 3 door SKS like the Gen II models that had SKS.

SKS is now standard, it was not on the Gen II. But to save costs, the base standard SKS is one door as described above.

Then why so many pissed off models II and III owners complaining bitterly about the 1 door SKS? Don't they know it wasn't even standard on the Gen II when they had it?

Your new Prius has lots of cool improvements over your previous. As you know, be sure to read the owner's manual. The rear end trim level is weak; lots of plastic content and thin cargo floor coverings. Congrats and lots of fun with your new car.

    Happy Motoring,

    Tom
