Prius 3 change to use Philips CID2680?

    Dear all...

    I would like to ask
    if I change my audio system to Philips CID2680...

    any problem would cause..
    e.g. the bluetooth.. the control swith on steering wheel...etc

    From my research readings on changing the Head Unit [I haven't replaced mine yet], it shouldn't be an issue but you do have to wire up all those items so they'll continue to work. The process for a non JBL system is described in http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-iii...-toyota-prius-model-ii-head-unit-upgrade.html

    If you have the a JBL radio installed you'll need PAC TATO to power the JBL amp. To retain the steering wheel controls you have to use a Pac SWI-PS v1.6.8, Pac SWIJack or what ever is appropriate for the Philips unit you are going to install. Since your installing a new HU you'll be using the bluetooth from that unit and will need to install a new microphone for that.

    Dear all...

    I have received my Prius 3 from Toyota
    and also change my sound system to Philips CID268
    everything all right......
    the control switchs in steering wheel.. ok
    Bluetooth mic (prius per-installed) and incoming phone call (voice in car speakers)...ok
    I have just test for few minuites..from now on seem everything good

    Will tell you more...if find any problem..
