For Sale OEM Toyota Nav / Head Unit with 4 disc changer

    As a more reasonable point of reference, has everyone forgotten the Nav option adds $2000+ to the price of the Prius? Using that as a reference point, $1000 asking price would be half price! Anything less would be a bargain.

    We just had a Kenwood GPS installed in our daughter's Civic, the base Nav/Stereo HU installed with steering wheel controls cost over $1200.00. I really don't think OP is being unreasonable in what he's hoping to get for an OEM Nav Unit, especially is it comes with the surround which would give a seemless OEM Install!

    Sorry to disrupt the gouge party that seems to have ensued, but with some the offers being made, why not just break into his car and steal it? :eek:

    Thanks Paul! You're right...maybe if someone broke in and stole it - I'd get the TRUE value from the insurance company :rolleyes:

    No gouging party at all. Let's follow your logic to it's conclusion:

    You're suggesting to pay $1000 for a NAV unit that the OP has determined is of LESS VALUE than an $800 aftermarket unit.

    I understand that$1000 is 1/2 of the OEM (Already installed) price - but it is not a reasonable price (taking all of the information into account).

    That said, if the OP got $1000 for the OEM Nav Unit, more power to her - that's great. But, an offer in the $300-$500 is (based on the facts) a reasonable price and certainly not any "gouging".
