There appears to be a lot of confusion with the announcement of the new Prius v to the Prius family. I would like to take this opportunity to advise the members to please check that you are in the appropriate forum before posting a new thread with your question. It is getting frustrating to move so many threads from this forum to the appropriate forums in PriusChat. So let's clear things up

This forum is for the new Prius v wagon (lowercase v). Do not confuse this with the 2010 Prius V (uppercase V. Pronounced Prius 5 as in the roman numeral 5). Toyota has changed the packaging name on the standard Prius for 2011 reverting to standard English language numbers such as Prius Two, Prius Three, Prius Four and more critically, Prius Five to refer to the five models available on the standard Prius.

If you own a Prius V/Prius Five, please post in the Gen III forum.

If you own a Prius v wagon, then welcome to the forum. You're in the right place!

    Thank you for your attention.

I want to post in here again reminding people, primarily the new user base who probably won't take the time unfortunately to read it anyway, but please make sure you're posting in the correct forum.

WAY too many new users are posting Gen II and Gen III questions in here. This forum is for the Prius v (The 2012 Prius "Station Wagon" have you).
