I have a 2005 Prius with yellow car pool sticker. I believe they just expired Jan 1st 2011, my question is how do I get a car pool sticker that I could still use, I think I have seen these white colored ones that some people use?

Would I have to modify my car to get one of the working stickers?

As has been reported in the newspapers and on tv, the expiration date was extended to July 1, 2011. The white stickers are not for hybrids, but for natural gas powered vehicles, etc.

Is anybody else in California with the HOV stickers considering still driving in the carpool lane when the stickers expire?

If you convert your Prius to run on Natural Gas or all electric, you can obtain a white sticker.

Do the white stickers expire 2015? Also how do I know which electric modifications would make me eligible for the white sticker? Would that one mod that lets you go off of a 30 miles electric charge considered eligible?

    Thank you

A good coat of wax or clearcoat should help. Also a healthy diet of bugs and road grime.

LOLZ! I was also thinking some of that clear protective chip guard film, or if you're on a budget some clear packing tape.

unless the law is entended after July of 2011, our luxurious crusing lane is off limits ot us solo drivers. Anything after that will result in a $400 ticket. I don't do tickets.
