Purchased a used 2008 Prius and have been real happy with it so far. The original owner had two phones programmed into the Bluetooth and they won't go away. I have deleted them numerous times but they keep coming back. I can delete them with the delete button, then pair my phone and it works good as long as I'm still in the car. I can power down and up and it connects to the phone. But, if I leave the car powered down for any length of time, the old phones are back and my phone won't work unless I pair it again. (have reset to defaults also) I've used my phone and the system will tell me another phone is being used and would I like to change phones and I hit OK. With everyone's help I have turned off the reverse beeper, thank-you, and have the Satellite radio working fine and I'm still working on the whistle from the drivers window (filled hole under mirror). Not sure if I need to hang my left leg out the window while deleting old phones? LOL!! Any help is appreciated and I'm leaning lots from the forum.

Thanks, This did give me the idea to try and look at the diagnosis screens. I was able to find some information on how to get to these so I learned something new anyway. I looked at the Bluetooth screen but didn't see a reset but did see where you could make adjustments it looked like. Didn't mess with anything for I didn't want to make things worse since the old phones haunting me seems to be the problem. I guess if I wear the earbuds from the iphone I can talk on the phone when needed and they will help block out the window whistle. LOL.

If the previous owner had phone books related to the two phones, you have to delete them before you can delete, permanently, the two phones.
    Hope this helps.
