Anybody else notice how in the link above the vehicle with the most complaints--the Camry--is also the one that specifically was used in declaring that Toyota has zero electronic throttle problems? This is why it's so clear that these problems are user error.

I found it last night completely by accident. They should turn it into a game, you could test yourself and see how long it takes you to either put the car in neutral or turn it off.

call us any names you want I'm personally calling you out.

This is a matter of your integrity and credibility.

You have made some bold accusations towards us (where we work, we are one in the same person, etc, etc)

You decided on your own to make these acusations that were totally unrelated to the topic being discussed and with no facts to support your delusional speculation.

now the question for you and the forum isare you of your word and willing to meet up with us and have a beer (or whatever you want to drink) let us show you our background. Bring a friend, if you are afraid we can meet in front of a police station. Whatever, I can assure that i have no intent to harm you, just show you who i am and give you the opportunity to post up to your prius world that you were wrong.

Or you are a shell of a man and a worthless individual, that just resorts to name calling and is not willing to meet us and admit to the forum that you have made false accusations?

the choice is yours are you a shell of a man or willing to meet us and learn from your mistakes?

    bisco,
that is funny "about meeting at the flagpole after school"

but i want to assure everyone that i have a million other things i should do rather then meeting up with 32k colors AND our intention is to shake hands and have a drink and laugh about the situation. I have a family and responsibilities, but am wiling to meet up with him just so the prius community can see that i'm a man of integrity (which 32k colors has attacked with no basis)

What's the chance of two random individuals mistaking my residence to be Torrance when my profile has read Redondo Beach all long? Nope, not a chance. Individuals who are actually not what they're accused of are not going to be so loud in wanting to meet up and prove themselves to the community.

I just experienced SUA! Not cool. Anybody know the stimulator's VIN so I can file a report with NHTSA?

This whole situation has me upset! When I first heard of the "Sudden Acceleration" problem in the Prius and the possibility of death stemming from it, I immediately went out and bought my wife one. I also increased our life insurance policies to $1 million (I receive double if death is by accident).

Now, with this information, I have a good mind to sue Toyota for the initial investment I made in the vehicle PLUS the extra cost of the policy.

I mean, I probably spent well over $25,000 already.

I didn't say you lived in Torrance, I said you work in Torrance and you work for Toyota. Confirm or deny that please.

You did say Torrance was my residence, and socalev also thought I changed my profile after this. Yeah, right. Why do you keep asking questions for which you already know the answers?

Typical defensive response followed by unfounded conjecture. Edmunds says clearly in their report that it is quantity of complaints, not sales-weighted complaints. It still doesn't change the fact that more than 1000 Toyota owners complained about unintended acceleration.

The interesting point is that Toyota ranked 17th in overall complaints (not just unintended acceleration) despite their high sales volume. So they have very few overall problems, but a disproportionately high number of unintended acceleration complaints.

    Simple question:

Do you work for Toyota or a Toyota subsidiary?

Very interesting how unintended acceleration in a Mercedes, BMW, GM, Ford, etc, doesn't cause the media uproar that this did

evpv, I have no idea where 32kcolors works, but unless he is the CEO of Toyota I'd say your need to correct what social psychologists call cognitive dissonance and your rationalization of your choice to dump your Prius is coloring your judgement a whole lot more than anybody elses in this discussion.

You were a victim of FUD. Move on.

I am calling you out AGAIN

What is the chance you will take the opportunity to meet up with two random individuals and then come clean to the board and let everyone know that your were wrong?

I suppose you will just not answer this quesiton with the hopes that it will go away?

Will you continue to call every new visitor to this site with a question about the prius that in your view is negative a troll?
