I ordered my 2011 last month, and when it arrives I think I'll be getting them (the Dealership) to install fog lights on it. Its a Blizzard Pearl II.

I'm hoping that will not take too long to do, has anyone else have them installed on a Prius II by a dealership? I assume there is no issues with that ...I hope? I would not tackle the job myself as I'm not quite as handy of some of you here. I'm also hoping they will do a expert job, rather than have it done somewhere else. Please correct me if I'm wrong or missing something, or have heard of any problems with installing fog lights.

    thanks

    My $0.02...

The OEM 'auxiliary' lights are overly expensive for what you get, and your dealer should have kicked in for a set as a deal maker when you ordered your G3.
    Having said that...
Getting the dealer to install the for-real "Gen-U-ine" by gosh TOYOTA auxiliary lights does have it's little advantages.
If they pooch the install, you can get it fixed as a warranty item, and they're no question as to whether or not the lights will be as good as the OEM units....since they'll be....ah,...(*) OEM units.
    That is.....unless you're dealer is a crook.

    Good LUCK!!!

EDIT: Crap. I just noticed that you're from NS. It's possible that you really meant fog lights when you said fog lights, instead of what we dopey Americans call fog lights which are really auxiliary (or driving) lights.
Sorry about that. My advice stands.
The good people over at "Three Guys and a Hammer" Auto Electric Emporium can (and do) install both Aux and Fog lights for your Prius driving pleasure.
They're almost as good as OEM.
    Almost..... :)

That was exactly my thinking when I had the dealer install them. They work great and problems can be handled by them if they do.
    (terrible sentence!)

ha, yup thats what I meant, FOG lights, to fill in those little grey empty holes below the turn signals. Thanks for the advice, and thats what I was thinking, if there is a problem afterwards, they can fix their own mistake. :)
