    Is this for real ?
You vandalise a beautiful console on your car by glueing a trapdoor over the park button, what a mess, sorry if I sound a bit harsh but it's sickening to see. That's really going to improve the resale value.

Just get in the habit of skipping the park button entirely. Hitting the power button automatically puts the car in park.

I just purchased the car barely 4 months ago. I don't plan on selling the car for several years. If I was the least concerned right now about resale value, I would park the car in the garage, lock the key in a safe deposit box, then ride the bus for the next 5 years.

I also wondered what would happen if the button was accidentally hit while driving. I asked the salesman who of course didn't know. He just said we better not try. So it's good to read that it's already been addressed.

:rolleyes:I know, seriously. All you have to do is learn how to drive the car you have with all it's unique features. If you develop a bad habit that is detrimental to the vehicle, wouldn't it make sense to break the bad habit rather than develop a work-around so you can keep doing it?
